Temporary Resident Visa allows one to stay in Canada for up to 6 months.

You must prove:

• Valid travel document
• Good health (may require medical exam)
• Must satisfy CIC official that you have strong ties to your home country
• Proof of intent to leave Canada at the end of your visit
• Should have sufficient funds for the duration of your stay
• May require a letter of invitation from someone who lives in Canada

A Super Visa offers a tremendous opportunity to invite parents or grandparents to visit.  A Super Visa is valid for up to ten years. This visa is a temporary resident permit, which allows parents and grandparents stay for as long as two years per visit.
